Moses
Here is an amazing story…
When Moses and the Israelites were in the desert, how were they going to be fed?
They had to be fed, and feeding 2 or 3 million people requires a lot of food.
According to the Quartermaster General in the Army, it is reported that Moses would have to have had 1500 tons of food each day. Did you know that to bring that much food each day, two freight trains, each at least a
Besides, you must remember, they were out in the desert, so they would have to have firewood to use in cooking the food. This would take 4000 tons of wood and a few more freight trains, each a mile long, just for one day.
And then another thing!
They had to get across the
But then, there is another problem… each time they camped at the end of the day, a campground two-thirds the size of the state of Rhode Island was required, or a total of 750 square miles long… think of it! This much space for camping!
You see, Moses believed in God. God took care of these things for him.
To guide you and protect you as you go along your way.
His love is always with you, His promises are true,
And when we give Him all our cares, He will see us through.
Our God is an Awesome God!!
So when the road you’re traveling on seems difficult at best, just remember I’m praying for you, and God will do the rest.
Home Safe
Thank you for all your prayers. I made it home safe and sound, and my brother and I had a wonderful time just being together and talking about every subject under the sun. We missed our connecting flights through Dallas on the return trip and ended up getting home later than expected.
I have a BIG day planned for Friday, as I am scheduled to preach at 9:30 a.m. at Azusa Pacific University.
I have never had the privilege of preaching at Azusa before, and I am anxiously looking forward to it.
Please keep me in your prayers as I preach to all of those college students, that God would give me the right WORDS to share. Do you realize how much POTENTIAL is in those college students… If ONLY they would sell out for the LORD.
We will also have a big surprise this weekend at church. I’d love to tell you what it is, but then it wouldn’t be a surprise, now would it!!!!
NEW WEBSITE
MARANATHA !!!!
What a weekend at Shepherd! The crowds, the spirit, the music, the message, the receptiveness. I want 2007 to be the year where we truly live our lives being ready and prepared for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Sit down and read Matthew 24 and 25 and you will understand the need for us to be prepared, as well as understand that there will be a day where we will give an account for how well we managed the things he placed in our care.
Don’t forget next weekend…
