REVIVE US AGAIN – UPDATE

Our Day of Prayer and Fasting has been a mountaintop experience. The Lord moved in a powerful way. Just about everyone who attended has conveyed how difficult it is to even find the words to express the events of the day. Seeing men and women praying and worshiping for an entire day and realizing that THIS is what the Lord truly desires from us….. We felt the presence of God coming into our midst as we poured out our hearts to the Lord. Michael North truly led us into a time of worship and the Family Life Center was where we felt the connection to the missionaries we support. Their was a special anointing upon the Western Wall and I cried over and over again as I saw people in Room 1 writing out there request for their unsaved friends and family members. People prayed on their prayer walks and touched every area of our ministry.

And all God’s People said??????????? AMEN AND AMEN!

Again.. I want to thank EVERYONE who attended and everyone who participated. It was a day where we truly felt and experienced Revival. Let’s continue to be people who call out to the name of the Lord our God.

May Revival reign in our hearts for ever and ever and ever.

In love,

Pastor Dudley

Getting Ready To Pray

It’s now 3:30 a.m. on Monday morning and in a few hours our church is going to meet and pray from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is not just the beginning of Revival…. IT IS REVIVAL ! When God’s people gather to pray and worship and turn from OUR ways and to SEEK HIS FACE. Will YOU please join us and if you are not able to join us, will you please be in prayer WITH US. If you need a verse…. It is II Chronicles 7:14. Look it up and then you will understand what we are doing and why we need YOUR HELP.

Smile :) Cardinals win first game of World Series

I think many of you know that my father raised me to root for the St. Louis Cardinals. We grew up in the Midwest and most people pull for the Cards or the Cubs. Dad actually took me out of school on several occasions where we would drive to St. Louis to catch a couple of ball games. This past week MY family and I were watching game 7 of the National League Series against the New York Mets, and it was interesting to watch my children cheer when the Red Birds won the game. I thought to myself…. “Isn’t it interesting that their love for the Cardinals was something that I taught them in the same way my father taught me?” And then I had a far more convicting thought…. “I hope that they will ALSO have a love for Christ the way my father taught me to have.” Why do we strive to teach our children so many trivial things when the essential matters of faith and devotion are so lacking? Please, God, allow me to be a father that teaches my children to have a love for You that will cause them to shout and cheer for the things of God.

Day of Prayer and Fasting – The Western Wall

I am soooooooo excited about Monday October 23rd. We have built an exact replica (1/3 scale) of the Western Wall out in front of our church. We are having an all-day event of prayer and fasting at our Porter Ranch Campus where we will be meeting from 8:00 am till 6:00 pm. We are going to fast, pray and worship the Lord God. This “Year of Prayer” has drawn many people into a deeper committed relationship to Jesus. Please accept my invitation to come join us this monday. I wll try to post more pictures later.

New Campus in West L.A.!

On October 8th, we launched a brand new campus in Brentwood, CA. Literally, hundreds of people came from all walks of life to join us for our grand opening. I am happy to announce that we had 1100 people in total attendance. There were many people who came up to me afterwards and expressed thankfulness because they had been praying for years for a church like Shepherd to be on the Westside. I will write more later concerning this campus. In the meantime, visit www.mywestsidechurch.com and I will see you this Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Wadsworth Theatre!
